This pen is new-old-stock but had been inked once so I cleaned it and tested it with a cartridge and it's an exceptionally good writer.  The pen is cleaned after testing and in new condition.  No dents, dings, chips, cracks, wear or damage on pen.  The pen will take a modern converter so I put a new international style converter in it.  No box
