    Description

    Rotring is an former German pen manufacturing company of technical writing and drawing pens.  Established in 1928 and the name "Rotring" means "red ring" is still imprinted aroung the barrel of their pens today.  As the factory and headquarters in Hamburg were shut down, production has been moved to Japanes manufacturer Holbein.  This is a rare pen from new old stock.  It is still in its original box.  The nib is a stainless steel gold plates BB nib, quite rare for a fountain pen.  BB nibs are used for calligraphy.
